2016 NMPRA Championship Pylon Race

Dan Kane, Robert Holik and Tom Scott finish in the top three at the 2016 NMPRA Champ Race.

Dan finished in 1st place and had a fast time of 1:00.49 with his Miss Dara. The Miss Dara is designed by Dan Kane and Tom Scott. It was built and painted by Dan Kane. The airplane was powered by a Nelson 40 motor and an APC 7.4x7.5C propeller. Dan uses a DX18 Spektrum transmitter and AR8000 receivers.

Robert took 2nd place and had a fast time of 59.00 (the fastest time for the contest). He was flying the Strega. The Strega was manufactured by Paolo Pampana in Italy and built by Robert. His airplane was also powered by a Nelson 40 motor, he used an APC 7.4x7.6C propeller. Robert uses a JR 9503 transmitter and Spektrum receivers.

Tom finished in 3rd place and had a fast time of 59.39 with his Miss Dara. Tom is the owner of CMAD Racing, the manufacturer of the Miss Dara kit. Tom built and painted the airplane. His airplane was powered by a Jett 40 motor, he used an APC 7.4x7.6C propeller. Tom uses a DX9 Spektrum transmitter and Spektrum receivers.

This years event had 50 entries from 3 countries (USA, Mexico, and Brazil). Flying conditions were perfect.
